Career Planning
Appnetics has a large number of well defined
professional functions each with a clear
path of development and many with crossover
paths. The HR Officer has a primary responsibility
to work with staff and supervisors in
planning career paths that are kept updated
with the result of development and assessments.
Using feedback on strengths and interests,
staff can define a career direction as
well as the skills or experiences needed
to achieve specific goals.
Training and
Development
Experience has shown that best results
are obtained through a multifaceted development
approach that mixes training with practical
experience. Development plans therefore
include a blend of online courses, technology
certifications, instructor-led classes,
and special assignments. Added to this
are other facets of our learning environment,
such as coaching and mentoring.
Assessment
Transparent and frequent Assessment of
abilities and contributions is a cornerstone
of development at Appnetics. Our performance
review process involves both supervisory
and top management and provides staff
with objective feedback not only on specific
job achievements but also on how successful
in progressing along the planned career
path. Assessment also considers the presence
of certain hallmark traits that we value
in every employee.
