Candidate will provide daily tuning, troubleshooting,
systems configuration and management of
Servers in a Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
Environment.
Essential Knowledge:
Deep Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000
Server family, to include:
Windows 2000 administration
Software & Hardware Trouble-shooting
problems
Apply patches and upgrade packages
Exchange Administration
Perform routine Backups
Essential Education:
BS In Computer Science or related subject
from a national university
Appropriate Certification a must
Professional Certification
Appropriate Professional Certification
is a must. Especially relevant are:
MCSE
CompTIA A+
Essential Skills:
Maintain system integrity and availability
by successfully configuring,
maintaining, and managing databases in
Windows
environment. Candidate
will assist with daily application systems
management.
Candidate
must also have the capability to interface
with technical
in development and support units. Technical
competence in the areas listed above and
excellent
communication skills are required.
Candidate should have five years of related
technical experience
in an operational environment. Security
experience
desirable.
